A workshop was held in the Rectorate Conference Hall by the Gaziantep University Education Coordination Office.
As part of the program evaluation and updating efforts carried out to ensure that the curricula of higher education institutions are designed in line with the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) in terms of teaching objectives and learning outcomes, and to guarantee their responsiveness to the needs of students and society, a workshop was organized to evaluate the course information packages included in the Gaziantep University Bologna Information System.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the academic units' Bologna Information System and members of the relevant education committee. During the workshop, the learning outcomes included in the course information packages, their relationships with program outcomes, ECTS workloads, course content, measurement and evaluation methods, and program competencies were examined.
Participants were given practical information on the updates that need to be made on the Bologna Information System, and the deficiencies and areas for improvement identified in the existing course information packages were also evaluated. Furthermore, the importance of preparing course information packages that are up-to-date, consistent, and measurable within the scope of quality assurance processes was emphasized.
As a result of the workshop, it was decided that academic units would review their course information packages according to the determined schedule and complete the necessary updates through the Bologna Information System. 08/06/2026
